After months of speculation, we now know what the Buffalo Sabres will be wearing when the puck drops on the 2017-2018 season. On Tuesday, the NHL along with Adidas revealed the 31 'new' jerseys for every team, including the Sabres.

At first glance, there doesn't appear to be any massive changes to the sweater but as you look closer you'll notice a few small tweaks.
These changes include:
-Removal of the silver piping that was featured on the front and back of Buffalo's most recent jersey
-A new, more subtle, collar -- as opposed to the gold collar that wrapped around the neck of the Sabres' previous jersey. It appears the new jersey will feature a navy collar on the front of the jersey and gold that wraps around the back.
-No more silver arm-pits (Hooray!!!!!)
-Smaller secondary stripes on the sleeve. The new Adidas sweater features three stripes [two silver, surrounding one yellow, with silver accents], while the previous jersey featured three yellow stripes with silver accents.
* Sports office debate -- Joe and Nick say gray piping, I say silver.*
Bove's take:
To the dismay of many fans, the shading of the home jersey appears virtually the same. That being said, it's important to remember that the Sabres and NHL will likely unveil a new jersey for the upcoming 2018 Winter Classic.
Buffalo is also three years away from the organization's 50th anniversary. Seven-years-ago, when the organization celebrated its 40th anniversary, the team debuted a royal blue alternate jersey.
If I was a betting man, and this is just a hunch, I wouldn't get too excited about a potential royal blue jersey until 2020. It just makes too much sense.
Can we all agree how gorgeous the #Sabres jerseys would be if they went back to a lighter shade of royal blue? @WKBWhttps://t.co/awlBJo3ut2
