The Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame is getting ready to induct their 30th anniversary class. This year the induction will take place virtually. Linda talked with Greg Merkle, president of the Greater Buffalo Sports Hall of Fame. Greg says they weren’t sure what to do early on when the pandemic hit but as a group they said let’s not say no yet; lets try and come up with a couple of ideas. Virtual was one way and then they jumped into radio. They are inducting 12 people. Three members per week will be inducted into the Hall of Fame and they have begun already. Howard Simon says some of the inductees go back to the late 1800’s, early 1900’s and it has been very educational.
