Today’s two-minute test drive is the Mercedes-Benz. Brook Arber, General Manager at Mercedes-Benz of Buffalo says over the past four or five years, Mercedes-Benz really amplified their sport utility line-up and today about 70% of drivers want to be in a sports utility.
Brook Arber show us three models, the GLB, GCL and the GLE, so you can get a feel of different sizes. She says what Mercedes-Benz is really known for is safety. They are one of the first manufacturers to do anti-lock brakes and create seat belts.
All three of these vehicles are all wheel drive. The GLB, is a brand-new vehicle that came out in the last year or two says Arber. It is on the smaller side but what it offers that they were never able to offer before in that size is a five-seater option and a seven-seater option.
New this year, is that Mercedes-Benz has brought in what they call MBUX which stands for Mercedes-Benz User Experience. Arber says it’s like “Hey Siri” but it is “Hey Mercedes.” It does a variety of things. For example, you can ask to have the temperature turned down in the car.
If you would like to test drive one of these vehicles stop down and meet with their sales people to determine what the best fit for you is and if you aren’t sure you can test drive a couple of different vehicles. After your test drive a sales person will go over all the features to make sure you understand everything you could get, you want to get or if they have something there that is just right for you.
