The kids are back in school even if they’re learning at home and we need to get them to love the foods that love them back and you too. We need to have foods that fuel and feed our body and our brains. Our brains are so important. Robbie says, the research shows when you skip meals not only does slow down your metabolic rate to a snail’s pace but also it causes you to feel confused. It causes you not to be to be able to focus. Your memory is affected when you skip meals. So, you need to keep your metabolism humming and we need to be able to think throughout the day. Have vegetables cut up to snack on and fruits but not too many fruits. Robbie says you should have fruits but not fruit juices which is like sugar. We need to stay away from empty calories and really focus on the foods that are high quality; not quantity but quality. When you are choosing foods in the house for you and your family look at the ingredients. Robbie says ingredients matter and, choose those foods that love you and you can love back.
