There are things we can definitely do to prevent exposure. It entails social distancing, so when going to the grocery store wear a mask; washing your hands or use hand sanitizer if you don’t access to washing your hands.
If you have signs of COVID-19 talk to your physician to see if you should have a test or not. Right now, in our community we are so fortunate that we have good availability of testing right now. People need to understand when someone commits to getting testing, that at the time of specimen collection they are in isolation. That is a commissioner order. It is actually a legal order and there could be consequences for breaking it. Dr. Gale Burstein also discusses the difference between the COVID-19 test and the antibody test.
