Anchor Katie Morse the coronavirus headlines of the day.

Gridlock Buffalo is taking place today. A group of protestors are gathering in Niagara Square. They are going to try and block the square, protesting the fact that New York State is on pause until May 15th. Police say they are going to be enforcing traffic laws, and any social distancing for gathering rules that have come as a result of COVID-19.

New York State is also beginning some antibody testing today. It is a survey that’s happening. They’re going to try to determine how many people might be immune to COVID-19.

We have more than 2,700 cases in Western New York and 2,200 of those are in Erie County. Unfortunately, we know that 135 have died here but nearly 480 have recovered.
