Cybersecurity Awareness Month – Get ahead of threats before they happen

Posted

Brianne Manz, Founder of the Stroller in the City Blog is a mom of three. She says her kids are on their devices more and more these days and keeping them protected while they are online is super important to her and that’s why she teamed up with Aura to actually educate parents about they risk while their children are online.

Is there a good place for parents to find structured information in terms of what they can follow to be safe as a family? Brianne says she really thinks parents need an online security system on their devices like Aura. She says I want to be able to get alerts if my credit is at breach, I want to know if someone has my social security number, I want to know if I am found on the dark web, I want a security system that does all of that for me under one roof and Aura does that. As families are increasingly more and more online we are putting our credit cards out there, our passwords out there and it is really leaving us at risk for financial theft, for hacking, even for financial lost.

How do we decide between the options for security protection when there are so many options? Brianne says she am a busy mom of three and she wants one subscription, one thing that does it all for her. She says, Aura is an all-in-one digital security so for me I get the text messages, the emails and in case of anything I can freeze my credit in case anything happens. She says you can also use a password manager to control all your family’s passwords under one roof.
