Dr. Todd Shatkin says we are still in the heat of this pandemic; it got a little better for a while and now it is back in full force and maybe even more so. He says they take every single protocol possible to protect both the staff and the patients. This includes checking in at a separate desk; checking your temperature; going through health history to make sure you are healthy, going through proper use of PPE which includes N95 masks in their office and they have a very efficient filtration system that filters the air 40 times an hour completely cleaning the air through a hepa filter as well as charcoal filters. There are filtration units in each room as well. They are doing everything they can to make sure everyone is safe.
They can also do rapid testing there. Dr. Todd Shatkin says if they are doing any kind of major surgery or someone has any symptoms what so ever, they will recommend they get tested and they would have to wait for those test results before they get seen as a patient, but they are able to the rapid testing for their staff or patients who may have symptoms if they so desire.
