Evette Phillips is an amazing person in our community. She has We R Buffalo Strong, a charity that she has been working with for years and helping so many of our homeless neighbors here in Western New York.
Seven years ago, Evette had a few extra food stamps because she was on disability with a broken back. With the 30 food stamps she had leftover she had an idea to go feed the homeless. Seven years later over 8,000 people were fed.
