Five tips for safe cycling

and last updated

Outdoor cycling is a great cardio vascular workout where you burn a lot of calories, tone your legs and it’s an easy thing to do. Here are Robbie’s five tips for safe cycling.

1. Make sure you are wearing your helmet. The helmet is so important to protect your head.

2. Stay hydrated, before during and after. You don’t realize how much you’re sweating when you are cycling.

3. Use your hand signals so cyclists and drivers around you know what you are doing.

4. Make sure you are going with traffic so you don’t confuse drivers and cyclists around you.

5. Monitor your heart rate.
