If you are looking for a new activity you can do with the kids, you can go on a TREEventure. Univera and Olmsted as a team came up with this great idea to have a TREEventure, a scavenger hunt through Delaware park and it really allows people to get outside, take a walk and learn more about nature. Catie Stephenson, from the Buffalo Olmsted Parks Conservancy says you can visit the website, download the map and print it out to bring with you or you can pull it up on your phone while you are in a park and the app has the map along with other fun facts about trees.
Olivia Linke, community affairs director at Univera says with everyone being stuck at home a lot lately they found that this was a great opportunity for anybody of any age to get outside, and get a walk. She says it is so important for our mental health now to exercise, to be out in nature and there are so many benefits of being out in a park and we have all these great resources right here with Olmsted parks.
