Holly Anderson, daughter of Greta Anderson says her mother and father started Anderson's Custard in 1946. Their first restaurant was opened in the Bronx. A couple of years later they came home. Greta says her husband said life is too short to spend it away from family, so we are going home. Family has always been a big part of the business. Holly says her parents taught them gratefulness and in the company since 1946. So, the new emphasis on gratefulness and the positivity that it goes along with running a business they taught us. Being grateful and also giving back to the community is something Anderson’s continues to do, supporting organizations like Camp Good Days and Special Times. Greta says one thing we must remember is, to do onto others as they do onto you. She says she is thankful. Anderson’s has six locations across Western New York and a food truck
