May is recognized as Women’s Health Month and it is to focus attention on the issues facing women and often, they are issues that we don’t like to face ourselves, some of the more awkward issues. Women’s health expert, Dr. Jessica Shepherd regularly shares her expertise on Good Morning America and, also has been on AM Buffalo before. Dr. Shepherd says we can be our best advocate to self-evaluate or start the conversation with a healthcare provider on how we can do best for our health especially when we want to invest in it for the future.
