Mel is at Market in the Square. Co-owner Nick Kusmierski says they are a small independently owned grocery store in WNY. They feature their scratch bakery which is very unique to the area. He says they have bakers coming in every night making donuts fresh from scratch. They have more than just donuts; they have cookies, almond rings, hand-decorated cakes and more.
They also feature their hand cut meat department. They have steaks, chops, roasts; anything you want for your dinner their butchers can do. They also make homemade polish sausage.
Kusmierski says they have local brands like Webers and they just brought in Bacik, a polish products line so there is a lot of authentic polish products and that line is expanding.
Market in the Square has two locations. One on Union Road in West Seneca and one on Division Street in North Tonawanda.
