Mel Camp talks with Johnny Rzeznik from the Goo Goo Dolls. They have a new Christmas album coming out. Johnny says never in his life did he think that would happen. It started out as one song on a compilation album. Johnny says we are living in strange times and he thought it would be something that would help people have a bit of a distraction from all the insanity that is going on.
The Goo Goo Dolls are on the road a lot and Mel asked them how they handle being away for the holidays and what tips they have. Johnny Rzeznik says reach out to anyone you can. He says the important thing is that if you know someone is going to be alone, maybe knock on their door and see if they are okay; if you can maybe bring them something. He says ten years from now we are going to be asked what did you do during the pandemic to help out? How did you make things better?
