Music Monday – Keep Jesus First

Reverend Frank Bostic’s new single “Keep Jesus First” is more than just a song, it is a movement.

Rev. Frank Bostic says no matter how far he goes, no mountain is too high, no valley is too low, depression states or a high joy or low moments of life he will keep Jesus first; he would just pray; sing praises to him and think about him and the things that Christ went through in his earthly time.

The song is a message of hope. Years in the making, it dropped in the thick of the pandemic at a time the Buffalo community had stepped up to protest racial injustice and make clear the message Black Lives Matter. Anxiety, stress, anger, need lifting. Reverend Bostic says he’s glad the song came out when it did because that Black Lives Matter statement itself is a movement. A movement that like the song, offers a message of hope and Reverend Bostic says he knows first-hand the power of hope. He lived it. He wasn’t always a preacher. He was part of gang life. He came to see his own life could matter after a mentor handed him a bible and told him to read it.

Keep Jesus First is available to stream or download or you can find it online.

Join Reverend Frank Bostic this Friday at 9pm for a virtual concert featuring a live interview and music performance.
