Music Monday – Meet singer-songwriter Sara Elizabeth

The local live music scene has been a little too quiet for most. While on lockdown, local singer songwriter Sara Elizabeth decided to unite her fellow Western New York musicians virtually. In trying to find ways to both stay creative and stay connected to everybody while we were all still separate she put out a call on Facebook for words of inspiration of what the Buffalo music scene means to people as well as having people send her pictures from past shows. She used the inspiration to write her quarantine song.

Sara started singing at 9 years old. She says she was very shy, very awkward and very anxiety filled as a child and right away it was the outlet that she needed. She says the introversion and anxiety kind of went away as soon as she found music and as soon as she stepped out on the stage and that was the way she was able to speak to people and it evolved from there.

You can find Sara Elizabeth’s music on Spotify and Apple Music.
