The latest craze in video streaming service is making kids, teachers and parents smile is appropriately called Vooks as in video books. It is bringing children’s books to life with a whole new level of animated illustrations and narrated stories like the one written by former teacher Kitty O’Mara. Her book is called And the People Stayed Home. Kitty O’Meara says it is a book about the options we have during the time of pandemic; that we can use this time to do some serious healing of ourselves and come out of that and heal the world. She says it is a beautifully illustrated book and Vooks has taken it and sort of waved a magic wand over what was already beautiful and glorious, and enchanted it with animation. O’Mara says it’s a wonderful opportunity for her book to be on Vooks and she is very grateful for it.

Vooks works with publishers, illustrators and authors like Kitty to produce thoughtfully animated content with the artist’s original intent and aesthetic carried throughout. Music and sound effects are added along with a voiceover reading the words creating a truly unique storybook in motion.
