Looking for a way to not celebrate Valentine’s Day this year? The crew at Hawk Creek Wildlife Center has you covered. Tiffany Cimino from Hawk Creek says this year because of COVID they wanted to come up with a fun, unique fundraiser to help make up all the funds they lost this year. They decided to honor all the single people out there this Valentine’s Day. If you’re not feeling that hungry heart, Hawk Creek is the East Aurora home to a whole lot of hungry animals. Cinimo says for $5 you can name a mealworm after that pesky ex and they will feed those meal worms to their chickens. You can watch those chickens eat the meal worms and just get rid of that ex that has been bothering you. She goes on to say for $20 you can buy a paper mache ball that they will give to one of their cats so they can bat it around or tear it up.

Hawk Creek will be doing the feeding on February 16th at 12:30pm. They will be doing a live feed on their Facebook page. You can watch the animals devour the mealworm or rip apart that paper mache ball.

Hawk Creek provides rehabilitation for wild animals and those who can never return to the wild safely, find sanctuary in the Center’s 100 acres.
