Not all coffee is created equal. Mel says she loves her coffee and they do amazing toast at Toasted by Buffalo Foodie. Mel was live at Toasted by Buffalo Foodie which opened during the pandemic. She is talking with the owner Adria Campana who says she couldn’t have done it without the community and Buffalo has really shown her how Buffalo Strong we really are.
Adria says she has had this passion plan for years, but it was a dream that she though would never actually happen. She said she felt a lot of people were like it’s not going to happen, but she did it. She signed the contract for this place and went for it and then COVID hit. She goes on to say if it wasn’t for the community, she doesn’t know how they would still be open four months in. The community knows we are the city of good neighbors but until you are on this side of something so big and the community shows up for you and your employees and your business and passion, it’s just unbelievable. She goes on to say it hers her chills just saying that and (a little teary eyed) she says it’s a big moment. Adria says she has the best staff; everyone smiles and greets people and the atmosphere is a beautiful thing to watch as an owner. Adria tells Mel her husband Matt is behind this business 100% and is her biggest supporter.
