Rev. Dr. Silvester Beaman is going to read the benediction at the presidential inauguration tomorrow. He tells us that attended the inauguration of both President Clinton and President Obama, but he never participated in actual ceremony. Rev. Dr. Beaman says it is an extreme honor to now be participating; a very historical moment in the life of our nation.

Rev. Beaman says his hope for our nation’s future is that in his first 100 days of office, our President will tackle this virus and tackling the virus will put our economy back in place and simultaneously, address some of the issues dealing with our racial and social divides.

The Reverend Dr. Beaman is a Niagara Falls native. When asked what he misses most he says he misses the family and friends and says as soon as he comes home, he usually stops at Viola’s for a sub, Mr. Ventry’s for pizza and wings from Mr. Ventry’s if not from the Anchor Bar.
