Amazon is hiring warehouse team members for its new Tonawanda delivery station, starting at $15 per hour.
The delivery station opens this week, and Amazon expects it to create more than 600 full-time and part-time jobs. Amazon's delivery stations are the last step in shipping packages before they go out for home delivery. Packages are shipped from fulfillment centers to delivery stations to be picked up by delivery drivers. The nearest fulfillment center is in Lancaster on Walden Avenue.
Warehouse team members are needed in full-time and part-time positions to cover overnight, sunrise and weekend shifts. Shift times range from four to ten hours per shift, totaling 15-40 hours per week. Workers sort packages into delivery routes.
Amazon requires warehouse team members to be at least 18 years old.
Interested applicants can apply online. The company's Lancaster facility is also hiring.
