Walking into their 289 Main Street office, it feels like you've walked into an office in Silicon Valley. With open office space, a cool cafeteria, and tech talk happening constantly-- Campus Labs is a software company that was created by University at Buffalo grads about 15 years ago.
Campus Labs is a higher education software company that creates the platforms colleges use to help their students have the best experience on campus. For example they code the surveys and collect the data colleges use to gain student feedback. Their software is used at about 1400 colleges and Universities nationwide.
The company has around 200 employees right now and they are hiring about 20 more people. They need mostly software developers to help create the platforms for colleges to use.
"Our developers use their technical and programming expertise to improve the product and make life easier for our users," Buddy Rodgers, the second employee to ever be hired by the company said. He's a software development manager.
Campus labs is also hiring software engineers, sales, and marketing professionals. Director of People and Culture Lyndsey Banach says employees start out making $50,000 depending on the position and their experience. An applicant does need to have an associates or bachelor's degree.
