Lowe's Walk-In Job Fair:

Lowe's is holding an open, walk-in job fair at it Amherst, Williamsville, Orchard Park, Hamburg and Springville locations. Those interested can walk into any of those locations from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. October 23rd to apply and interview.
"We're currently hiring for numerous positions within the store. We're doing walk-in-Wednesdays.... Open interviews so show up, we'll slate you for an interview with an assistant store manager and fill any position that you're interested in," said Ed Vasquez, the Amherst Lowe's manager.
Open positions include department supervisors, cashiers, sales specialists, customer service associates, merchandise service teams, receivers, unloaders and load pullers. There are both full and part-time positions available. Pay depends on the position, and there's opportunity to receive benefits.
"If you come within Lowe's, if you work hard and show up every day, you're dedicated and great with customers, the sky's the limit. You can go all the way up to CEO," Vasquez said.
The company said it also offers its team members opportunities to give back to the community.
"We do all kinds of great stuff back in the community from our Lowe's heroes projects to our donations," Vasquez said.
