BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Minimum wage across New York State is set to increase come Monday. Since 2016, the state has raised minimum wage across the board.
The pay hike depends on where you work in the state. Downstate in Manhattan--large businesses will see minimum wage rise to $15. Here in Western New York, minimum wage will increase to $11.10, a $0.70 increase from last year. Minimum wage will continue to increase in WNY until it reaches $15.
