The Queen City Job Fair was the largest job recruiting event in New York State history, hosting 198 companies offering nearly 10,000 jobs in the Greater Buffalo area.
Large local employers included Roswell Park Comprehensive Care Center, Delaware North and Catholic Health among others.
“We always say if we can get at least one or two people out of a job fair, it would be great, so they definitely do help us," Human Resources Assitant at West Herr, Felicia Drozdowski said.
New York State Senator, Tim Kennedy, says that our community is facing its lowest level of unemployment in a long time- around four percent, largely because of the success of these recruiting events.
The event ran from 11:00am to 3:00pm. For information, visit kennedyjobs.com
