BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Have you ever considered working at one of the local colleges or universities? There are hundreds of jobs on campuses across western New York.
University at Buffalo has 267 openings. Jobs range from part time and entry level to faculty positions. Reps told 7 Eyewitness News there will be additional openings in the next five years. About a third of employees are over 55-years-old and are eligible to retire.
The application process can be more complex on a college campus. Take U.B. for example, all applicants are required to interview with a search committee. Some must also pass a civil service exam.
Buffalo State College is looking to fill 78 positions.
Canisus Collegehas 18 positions.
Daemen College has 16 available positions.
Niagara Universityhas 12 positions available.
