Jaurdyn Johnson is a multimedia journalist at WKBW in Buffalo, NY. She joined the 7 News team in August 2022.
She was born and raised in Montana, where she graduated from the University of Montana in Missoula and started working for the Montana Television Network as a production assistant in 2018 until she decided to ask her first News Director for a different assignment.
Once Jaurdyn become a reporter in 2019, she never looked back. She worked at KPAX/KAJ for three and a half years before moving to Montana's capital and her hometown, Helena (KTVH), for a year before venturing to Western New York with her cat, Einstein.
She has reported on stories impacting communities in Western Montana and now Western New York.
Jaurdyn loves showing the resiliency and love the 'City of Good Neighbors' continues to emulate.
When she is not working, you can find her playing kickball for OutLoud Sports or volleyball at Holiday's on Saturday evenings.
Jaurdyn is also an avid hiker, weight-lifter and animal lover.
