EAST AURORA, N.Y. (WKBW-TV) — Don't look now but Hamlin Park in East Aurora is being transformed into Sherwood Forest. The Aurora Players present 'The Somewhat True Tale Of Robin Hood'.

Director Justyne Harris says the show is sort of a take on Mel Brooks and Monty Python type humor, adding "kids will enjoy it because it's the story of Robin Hood and the parents will like it because they'll be able to pick up on the humor."

The fun family Summer outdoor theatre experience opens Saturday and runs every other weekend through August 18th. There is no charge but the actors will pass the hat during intermission. There's more information available at the Aurora Players website.
