EAST AURORA, N.Y. (WKBW) — The Roycroft campus has been an East Aurora institution for over 100 years.

"This national landmark is actually sitting 20 minutes from Buffalo" Executive Director Curt Maranto said.

The campus has a copper shop, museum, printing shop, and world famous Inn on site.

"It's very serene, very peaceful, and it's very historic so it feels like you've stepped back 100 years" Marketing manager Amizetta Haj said.

Recently, there was a massive renovation done to the copper shop, bringing a modern feel to the older building.

"It balances the history with the modern experience of the copper shop itself," Haj said ,"It really brightens the space, it's not so dark and dingy."

Those restorations are just the beginning, as even bigger plans are on the horizon.

"We're looking at 11 million to restore the print shop," Maranto said, "Preservation is not cheap and it's very tedious."
