Eden Corn Festival: your guide to free summer fun in the southtowns

EDEN, N.Y. (WKBW) — Can you believe it? The Eden Corn Festival is already here! The festival kicks off on Thursday afternoon at 3 p.m. on Legion Drive, off Route 62 in Eden.

Hours

  • Thursday, 8/1 3 - 11 p.m.
  • Friday, 8/2 3 - 11 p.m.
  • Saturday, 8/3 Noon - 11 p.m.
  • Sunday, 8/4 Noon - 10 p.m.

Run for the Corn
Friday - Registration at 5 p.m., race starts at 6:30 p.m.
The Run for the Corn offers two courses, a 2.2-mile short course and a 3.8-mile long course. Races start together, and divide later in the course. The course includes woods trails and school lawns that border the Eden Corn Fesival grounds. The entry fee is $20, parking is $5. Proceeds from the parking fee benefit Eden All Sports Boosters. All runners get a buttered ear of sweet corn after the race.

The festival recommends looking for parking as soon as you see the ShurFine Food Mart on Route 62.
