NIAGARA FALLS, N.Y. (WKBW) — Celebrate World Pride at the natural wonder of Niagara Falls State Park!

The Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra is taking their talents to Niagara for "Pride at the Falls," a concert in celebration of Pride Day and commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Stonewall Inn uprising.

Just last weekend, Niagara Falls welcomed LGBTQ couples to celebrate their marriages. By renewing their vows, couples hoped to inspire others to "love who they love."

The concert will take place at 7:30pm on Friday, July 5th in the East Meadow on Goat Island. At 10pm, the Falls will be lit in rainbow colors prior to a firework show. Concert goers can bring chairs and blankets.

In the case of inclimate weather, the show will be moved into the auditorium of the Niagara Falls High School. You can check the Niagara Falls State Park Facebook for any updates.
