BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Celebrating is 12th year, the Labatt Blue Buffalo Pond Hockey Tournament is back at Riverworks.
Puck drops at 1 p.m. on Friday, February 15th. Games are played Saturday from 10 a.m to 8 p.m. and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
More than 900 players from 130 teams will face off in one of the most sought-after tournaments in the region. Teams even travel from other states and countries to participate!
This year, a skills competition has been added to the event where players will compete in shootouts, fastest slapshot, skating and more. The event is more than just hockey. It's family-friendly fun with a #CellyOn photo booth, live music, games like cornhole and giant jenga, appearances from Sabres alumni, Labatt Blue silo tower tours, an urban ropes course, vendor village and a new heated patio!
