BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Central Rock Buffalo is now open in Buffalo's Old First Ward!
The first-of-its-kind climbing gym in Buffalo offers more than 22,000 square feet of climbing and 40 foot walls. You can top-rope climb, which means you're wearing a harness and attached to a rope with someone attached at the other end who manages your rope safely; you can boulder which is harness and rope free on a low wall or you can lead climb, where you clip your rope into gear on the wall.
Central Rock is part of a development, bringing Resurgence Brewing and luxury apartments next door.
The unique gym space also offers a full fitness center, a yoga studio and an incredible community of climbers looking to offer tips, tricks and maybe friendships. Space is available for parties, work events or team-building.
