BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Walking down the aisles of the Broadway Market, you can't help but stop and stare at these colorful chocolate morsels.

Amanda Page and Kenny Willams opened up The Sweet Whisk in the Broadway market on Valentine's Day. The couple traveled around the world perfecting the craft of making bonbons.

"It's a thin shell so there is a crisp crunch on the outside and then on the inside we have different flavored ganaches which are a softer creamier chocolate," Page said.

These beautiful creations look too good to eat and will sure impress at your next Holiday gathering. The couple was trained by french chocolatiers and many of their ingredients are imported from France. The couple has a chocolate machine that makes sure the chocolate is tempered just right.

"We were both at Disney and I had my first bonbon and I had some drool coming down my mouth and I knew that was it, it was love after that," Williams said.

That love drove that couple to take both their culinary backgrounds to open a boutique chocolate shop-- the couple says the journey to get here was not easy but the reward is pretty sweet.

"It's kinda like a dream come true," Page said.

Page says the foot traffic and affordability of having a shop in the Broadway Market has been a major factor to their success.

The most popular flavors are the dark chocolate, salted caramel and their new Buffalo inspired flavor, loganberry.

The Sweet Whisk is open from 9am-5pm Tuesday-Sunday.
