BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Hanukkah begins this Sunday night with the lighting of the first candle on the Menorah. To celebrate Jewish families make traditional foods like Latkes and play dreidel.

We were joined by the Jewish Federation of Buffalo's Kosher Mini Chef founder Rabbi Laizer Labkouski to get some ideas on how to make some fun Hanukkah treats. For ten years, the Kosher Mini Chef's have been hosting classes for kids to make a fun edible craft and learn about the Jewish customs.

Stawberry Dreidels:
-Cut the bottoms off of some Strawberries
-Make an X with the knife on the bottom
-Cut up small carrorts and stick them into the hole
-See if the drediel will spin

Cereal Menorah:
-Use a chocolate wafer for the bottom
-Stick tooth picks in the wafer
-Add fruity cereal to the sticks
-Add DOT gummies as flames
-Enjoy!
