You won't find these fabulous fashions at your local retail store. The gorgeous garments from the good old days are a specialty at Miss Josie's Vintage in Kenmore, NY.
James Walaski-Miller opened the place with his mother Josie. She's 93 years old now and James says that up until a few years ago she did all the ironing. That job has been taken over by James' husband Alan. If the vintage clothing here looks like new, you can thank Alan for that. He says" that's my goal when I iron them."
Miss Josie's welcomes all kinds of customers including movie producers looking for classic vintage wear for their films. Once a year the store gets hit with people getting ready for the World's Largest Disco. James and Alan prepare by collecting racks and racks of seventies garb and storing it in the basement through the year.
