BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — A new coffee shop opened its doors today. JAM Parkside is serving up all sorts of coffee beverages in the Parkside neighborhood in North Buffalo. Owners say they want this coffee shop to be a pop-in-pop-out destination for the community.

"It will be a unique experience, available every day," Owner Jesse Crouse said. "We really want it to be based on quality and speed."

Owners Amber Small and Monica Cichon first had the idea to open up the coffee shop two-years ago. In that time they decided to grow the shop into a community-owned corporation where there are 70 neighborhood shareholders. Crouse joined the partners with his expertise in the coffee world as he owns Tipico Roasters coffee.

"We have a really great space here," Small said. "It took a long time for this to come to fruition but it's something we are really proud of."

The shop is open daily from 7am-7pm. There are also small pastries available from Mundy Cakes. The name JAM comes from the three owners, Jesse, Amber and Monica.
