New ways to enjoy a keg

Posted

The Buffalo Brew Fab is welding up a new may to enjoy a keg.

"The brewing industry is growing and it's huge right now," Brandon Farrell, owner of Buffalo Brew Fab said. "I just wanted to be a part of it."

Brandon Farrell is a welder by day and in his free time creates custom metal work at 3030 Genesee Street. He transforms kegs into bar tables, sinks, fireplaces... he even creates keg urinals.

"It's new and creative," Farrell added. Buffalo Brew Fab started three years ago after Farrell and his fiance traveled down to Florida and saw a keg table.

"Me being in the industry," Farrell said. "I said, I can build that and I can build it better."

Farrell adds that the most popular request are his keg urinals. Farrell says the stainless steal the keg is made out of is cleaner and will not rust as much as aluminum steal or others.

The Buffalo Brew Fab has it's welding studio and plans to open a store front and show room by Christmas.

The Brew Fab furniture can be found across Western New York at 12 Gates Brewing, World of Beer, the Black Thorn, and a new brewery in Ellicottville called StealBound.

Farrell's creations can be bought on Etsy, eBay, Amazon or place an order directly with Farrell on the phone.
