BUFFALO, N.Y. (WKBW) — Memorabilia covers the walls of the Buffalo Station House on 445 Delaware Avenue.
This new restaurant is dedicated to the brave men and women who serve as firefighters, police men and women and other service personnel.
"It's funny, initially people were thinking it was a museum," David Cronk, co-owner of The Station House said.
They serve up the Station House Burger, French Onion Soup, and even have a hot wing challenge. Underneath an American Flag made out of used fire hose, there's a coffee refueling station for first responders on duty.
Can you complete the “6 Alarm Fire Wing Challenge”? If you can finish six insanely hot wings in 20 minutes you will get an ice cold glass of milk and a free pitcher of domestic beer.
Owners David Cronk, Justin Discoll, and Ben Bell also own the Biergarten at Orchard Park and want this restaurant to be a thank you to heros that risk their lives to protect others.
"We love that we are able to give recognition to those people and truly show people that do this for a living that we appreciate them that's important to us," Cronk said.
They offer a 10% discount to first responders everyday.
