There's only one Mind Warp in North America, and it's right here in Western New York!
The wild ride swings you up 100 feet into the air and spins you upside down and round and round. Midway through, the seats flip individually.
Doug Mandell, the park's marketing director says, "It is one of our most intense thrill rides here."
The two-minute mind-boggler made its debut in Grand Island on Memorial Day weekend back in 2011. It's continued to reach new heights!
While the amusement park is home to fun spine-tingling, stomach-dropping rides, safety is always their first priority. Each ride is inspected daily.
Mandell says, "During the off-season when we're closed, ride vehicles are disassembled and individual parts undergo a series of non-destructive tests."
He says the ride is especially unique because "there aren't many of them built around the world."
Fantasy Island is now open only on weekends from 11:30 a.m. to 8 p.m. Water park hours are noon to 7 p.m.
Single day admission tickets are $35 and season passes are $70.
