WILSON, N.Y. (WKBW) — Each year for the past 41 years, fire volunteers in Wilson have been serving up delicious fish frys to people all over Western New York.
In fact, each week 40 to 50 volunteers serve over 1,200 fish frys per week!
Breaking that down further, that's one fish fry every seven and a half seconds!

That's 1,000 pounds of cod per week.
The Wilson Volunteer Fire Co. uses all location vendors to make some of the best fish frys in the area.
In 2019, the fire hall served over 10,000 fish frys to hungry Western New Yorkers. It will cost you $11 and doors open at 4:30pm ends around 7:00.
