Governor Cuomo was at the General Motors Tonawanda Plant Wednesday morning where an investment announcement was made.
GM announced $334 million will be invested in upstate New York across three operations, including $31.8 million at the Lockport Operations and $295 million at the Tonwanda Engine Plant.

Cuomo also said 1,261 jobs, new and retained, will come to and stay in Buffalo.

A local United Automobile Workers union leader says the Lockport plant was slated to close and most people were not expecting the news of the investment.
