43rd Ellicottville Fall Fest Kicks off Saturday

Posted

Eating, drinking, shopping and a whole lot more can be done at the 43rd Annual Fall Fest in Ellicotville both Saturday and Sunday. Last year the event raised more than $10 million for Cattaragus County alone.

“We shut down the whole, main village of this event," Organizer, Barb Pump, said. "[People] actually plan out the dates for the following year so they can make sure they’re down here.”

Joe Hassinger, owner of Cowboy Kettle Corn has been vending at the fest for the last 20 years.

“I just like the cookin’ in a kettle and the show that you put on and once people started to like it, it fired me up to do more," Hassinger said.  “They got could restaurants, good bars, good breweries, there’s just something quaint about it that I really like.”

Expect available lodging to be at a minimum and open container laws to be enforced this weekend if you are attending.
