7 things to do in Western New York this weekend: October 19th - October 21st

The Super Bowl for people with a sweet tooth is less than two weeks away. 

But that doesn't mean you can get a head start on some of the festivities starting this weekend. 

The Haunted Hayride at Becker Farms 

Here's a hayride for brave souls. You'll have multiple opportunities to get your scare on at Becker Farms this weekend. The Haunted Hayride costs $10 per person and runs from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Hayrides are weather permitting. 

Buffalo's Biggest Halloween Bash

This bash is for the adults. Dress up and get your Halloween pre-game on at Buffalo RiverWorks Friday night. Winner of the best-dressed costume wins a $2,000 grand prize. 103.3 The Edge's Shredd and Ragan will be there. It costs $25 to get in. Proceeds will go towards benefiting the Variety - the Children's Charity of Buffalo & Western New York. 

Witches and Warlocks Night Out

This event says it all. The Antique Lamp Co. and Gift Emporium is hosting its third annual Witches and Warlocks Night Out. Devilish drinks and ghoulish treats will be served. This event runs from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday night. 

Civil War Trolley Tour

Hop on a trolley and go back in time to the Civil War Era. Put on your history cap and learn some interesting facts about the Civil War here in Western New York at Forest Lawn Cemetery. Tickets cost $27.50. For a schedule of tours and more information click here

Fall Foliage Train Rides

This will be one of the last weekends to take in the fall foliage the Southern Tier has to offer. What better way to take in the beautiful scenery Western New York has to offer than getting on a train? This train ride lasts between two and three hours. Passengers will meet up at the Arcade and Attica Railroad. Tickets cost $19. Click here for a schedule of October train rides.

What better weekend to grab a bite to eat at some of your favorite dining spots? More than 200 restaurants will be participating. Click here for a list of restaurants taking part in Local Restaurant Week. 

Light the Night Buffalo

Bundle up and take a walk at night in Delaware Park for a good cause. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society is holding their annual Light the Night Buffalo. This fundraiser is dedicated to raising money for blood cancer research. All registered walkers will get an illuminated lantern to carry during the walk. Registration starts at 5 p.m. The walk starts at 7 p.m.
