Body cameras will now be part of the police uniform for officers in Albion.
Starting October 1st, all officers in the village will wear cameras that record video and audio.
The department says the cameras will be used as a tool to capture portions of events and give better insight into an incident.
The department tested eight different cameras before making a selection.
Albion police cruisers have been equipped with dash cameras for several years.
