American Airlines to add overhead bin fee

Another major airline is now ready to charge some passengers for using the overhead bins.

American Airlines is now following United's lead for charging that fee to passengers who buy the cheapest economy fares.

It's a move that is outraging New York's Senior Senator, Charles Schumer. Schumer is outlining a plan to expand the Airline Passenger Bill of Rights to include what he calls "unfair fees and policies."
