Another Honda Fit in the Elmwood Village becomes the victim of a crime.
Neighbors on Norwood walked out Thursday morning to find that one of the cars on their block was stripped of it's tires. Our very own Matt Bove was live on the scene this morning.
Ann Bingenheier-Serravalle, who's lived here in the neighborhood for close to two decades is concerned with the uptick in crime. "It's alarming because, if their doing this, this kind of crazy and nerving and damaging to your car, what's the difference from them entering our homes. What would stop that?"
She went on to add, "This is a safe neighborhood. I've lived here for 18 years and I've never had a problem."
We brought you the story of a Honda Fit parked in a driveway off of Richmond Avenue that was stripped of its tires.
The trade site says the Honda Fit wheels also fit the popular low-riding Honda Civic model and can be resold for hundreds of dollars in illegal markets.
