Buffalo police are investigating what they call "an apparent shooting," on Broadway and Brownell Street. This is on Buffalo's east side, right near the Cheektowaga line.
Police say they were called out to the scene just before 5:00 a.m. Wednesday.
One person was taken to Erie County Medical Center by an AMR ambulance.
We don't know the extent of that person's injuries.
At this point there is no word on a suspect or any arrests.
It's unclear if any evidence was collected at the scene.
