The Genesee County Sheriff's Office reports a suspect has been arrested in connection with the Friday night stabbing in Batavia.
Investigators and Drug Task Force members spent most of the day trying to locate the subject, who was believed to be in the City of Batavia.
Police found 18-year-old Jeffery Barr at the corner of State Street and Washington Avenue around 8:30 p.m. Saturday and took him into custody.
Barr is being charged with Attempted Murder in the 2nd Degree and is being held in Genesee County Jail without bail.
Motives for this crime remains unknown at this time.
